Advertising plays a vital role in the success of a business, product or service. Various forms of advertisement have different impacts on different kinds of niche and market. Choosing the best and suited mode of advertisement for your product, or service is a smart move.
Although advertising, like pay per clicks, can be effective in promoting your website, it can quickly become expensive. By focusing on creating quality content for website, and then promoting that content, you can continue to drive traffic to your website for years to come.
Writing an Ebook or creating Articles can be done easily. These lessen expenses that may be incurred. There are five strategies that you can implement in your business that will not only create a content strategy for you but will also create a very effective marketing strategy. These strategies will only require a few hours of your time each week. It also helps generate traffic to your site.
Articles
Articles do not only brand you as an expert but are also a way to create quality content for your site, and search engines love content.
Blogs/RSS
Blogging is another way to create content for your website, and by using RSS, you can easily distribute your content.
Press Releases
Press releases are news about your business. Press releases are also an excellent way to get high rankings for your site because you can create content rich press releases and submit them to press release directories.
Search Engine Optimization
Optimizing your site for the search engines means creating keyword rich content, exchanging links with other sites, submitting your site to directories, that creates back links pointing to your site.
Free Ebooks and Reports
By writing and giving away free Ebooks and reports, you give visitors an incentive to visit your website.
These five strategies have been used by Internet marketers to achieved high returns for their products or services presented.
Moreover, another way of promoting your business or site is by using Pay per Click (PPC), though it may require expensive transactions.
What is PPC anyway? Pay per click search engines also known as Pay per Ranking, Pay per Placement or Pay per Position provides web site owners the opportunity to buy their way to better positions on search results pages. Pay per click advertising on search engines allows you to choose keywords you would like your site to appear for when a search is performed.
A very important point to keep in mind with Pay per Click (PPC) is you must test, test, and test some more. Don’t start off with a major investment. Start with the minimum and see how the search engine performs in terms of the traffic it delivers and how well that traffic converts into paying customers.
The Pay per Click Guide provides an overview of several pay per click programs on offer. Each program is reviewed using the following four criteria:
o Price
o Traffic
o Interface
o Extras
One of the main appeals of PPC is the level of targeting available to advertisers. PPC evolved as a better option to CPM (cost per thousand impressions) advertising that was the original metric used to sell advertising on websites.
From the user point of view PPC advertising is not easy to come to grips with initially but will reward those marketers that spend the time learning to use the system and optimize their campaigns.

Turn on the TV or open a magazine and you will find endless advertisements for drugs from pharmaceutical companies. The pharmaceutical companies have huge advertising budgets because they are in a billion dollar industry. Treatments for diabetes have played a large role in pharmaceutical revenues. These corporate America drug companies have created helpful treatments for diabetes, but at what cost?
The cost is that diabetics have become dependent upon these drug treatments. Plus, they are only treatments and not a cure for diabetes. This leaves many diabetics to wonder why drug companies don’t spend time searching for a cure instead of just promoting treatments. The money these drug companies reel in every day is more than enough to fund studies to find a cure for diabetes.
Many drug companies don’t push money into diabetes cure research because if a cure or a way to prevent diabetes is found then their lucrative drugs will become obsolete. This is a greedy mentality that is not in the best interests of people with diabetes. Unfortunately, drug companies have the upper hand because diabetes is a disease which we do not choose and have to manage with their treatments.
In addition, many drug companies tout new treatments each year that are in fact a revised version of past treatment options. They bring new drugs to the market in hopes of earning a quick dollar, or millions of dollars, when in fact it is a new spin on an old treatment. This can be frustrating, misleading, and expensive for diabetes sufferers.
Drug companies also focus on diabetic aids such as blood glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and insulin pens. Theses products are often recommended in addition to prescription medication. Drug companies push these products because it means even more money in their pocket. Plus, these products will be used throughout your life so it means a constant supply of profit for drug companies.
The sad fact is that drug companies don’t have our best interests at heart. They see dollar signs instead of human faces. Many bigwigs at the drug companies will continue to capitalize on the increase in the diabetes epidemic. More diabetes sufferers leads to a bigger market which puts more money in their pockets.
People with diabetes need to stand up against these drug corporations. We need to remove the stronghold they have upon us. One way to achieve this goal is to change our lifestyle to help prevent diabetes. For example, Type 2 diabetes is often due to or amplified by being overweight. As diabetics we can engage in diabetes prevention by selecting healthy food options, exercising, and reducing weight. These are actions that we can take without paying a drug company. We can also look to dietary supplements for their benefits on blood sugar.
Diabetics need to stand up for their rights. We need to push to have money spent on publicizing the ways to reverse diabetes as opposed to treatment only. We need to cap the prices on diabetes treatments so that they are at a manageable level for diabetes sufferers. Otherwise, the drug companies will live large while we are trying to maintain a normal life.

Have you ever spent days, weeks, even a month or more slaving away at writing a single sales letter or ad… only to find it was a total flop?
I know I have.
Or maybe you forked over thousands to a traditional ad agency or marketing firm, only to get the same dismal result?
If so, then listen up.
Recently I was reviewing a collection of some of the greatest sales letters and ads, written by some of the world’s best copywriters, and found that there are a number of techniques that they managed to use repeatedly, to get killer results in their advertising efforts.
After surveying a few of my “losing” ads, I almost always found that I had completely neglected to use, or use effectively, one or several of those response boosting techniques.
In this article, I’ll reveal four of those powerful techniques you can easily use, to vastly improve the response and profitability of your next advertising campaign.
1. Use of powerful adjectives and action verbs. Using lots of descriptive words and action verbs in your copy, will submerge your readers in a total sensory experience which allows them to vividly see, feel, taste, touch and smell all of the benefits your product or service has to offer.
Here’s an example…
“This deep conditioning treatment will moisturize and strengthen your hair.” is a start, but it’s not good enough. Using more powerful adjectives and action verbs to describe those benefits, you might say something like this… “This all-natural deep conditioning treatment will replenish moisture-robbed hair, penetrating deep into the strand itself to strengthen it from root to tip. Leaving you with healthy, beautiful, silky-smooth hair.”
2. The masterful use of well-crafted similes and metaphors. This might be one of the most powerful copywriting techniques you could ever use. Metaphors allow you to make a direct comparison between two seemingly different objects, as if they were related.
Need an example?
“Having a sprinkler system in your home can dramatically reduce the chances of a fatal fire.” This isn’t bad, but look at how a metaphor transforms this statement: “Having a sprinkler system is like having a virtual firefighter in your home. It dramatically reduces the chances of a fatal fire.”
3. Apply the benefits of the product to the reader. Paint your prospects a thoroughly detailed picture of what their life will be like if they purchase the product or service. Describe in vivid detail how it will improve their life, or the end result they will receive.
A common way of doing this is using variations of phrases like: “Imagine how you’d feel if…”, or “How would you like to be able to…” and then simply plugging in a clear, vivid description of one or more of the benefits they will enjoy with your product.
How about an example…
“Imagine you, having tight, firm, chiseled six-pack abs, that catch the eyes and attention of every woman around as soon as you take off your shirt.”
4. Build “Yes momentum”. By doing this, you not only get the prospect to agree with you, but also get him to sell himself on your product or service. People hate to be “sold”, so if you can get your prospect to sell himself, it makes your job infinitely easier.
You do this by asking the prospect questions that unless he’s an absolute fool, or not a prospect at all, he will inevitably say “yes” to. Questions that make the reader believe that he really wants the benefits of your product or service.
Questions like: “Would you like to know the secrets of the smartest, wealthiest, and most successful business owners who consistently earn $15,000, $20,000, even $30,000 or more a month in cash profits, even in the face of the darkest recession the country has faced in decades?”
Only a fool would say no to that. Not only that, but by saying “yes”, he’s essentially convinced himself that you, or you’re product or service must have the answer to that question.
Whatever advertising collateral you’re planning to write or have written, these four methods are some of the most reliable, consistent, effective ways to consistently boost your response rates. Use them correctly, and watch your response rates soar effortlessly to stratospheric heights.

Promoting affiliate programs can undoubtedly produce great financial returns, but unfortunately most people never see these kinds of returns because they never figure out how to effectively promote their affiliate programs. Well this article will hopefully solve this problem as listed below are ten of the best methods you can use to start earning regular affiliate commissions.
1. Forums
Forums are one the most effective ways of marketing your affiliate programs if done correctly. By posting in relevant forums that allow sig files (where you can link to your own affiliate site, or directly to the product you are promoting if this is allowed) you can reach a targeted audience quickly and easily. As long as you post constructive comments, then you should see plenty of people clicking on your sig files to learn more about you, and the products you are promoting.
2. Articles
Writing articles is another cost-effective way of reaching your targeted market. By writing quality articles (that contain your resource box where you can link to your affiliate site) and submitting them to the various article directories, you can gain enormous exposure for your offers. A few people will come across your article in the article directories themselves, but it’s when website owners and ezine publishers pick up your article that you can really reach a massive target audience.
3. Press Releases
Press releases are similar to articles in that they provide a quick and easy way of reaching a large target audience. They can best be used when you have something newsworthy to say about either your own site or the actual products you are promoting. All you do is write the press release (in a journalistic style) and submit it to one of the larger online (or offline) press agencies.
4. Search Engine Optimization
This is probably the optimal form of promotion, but it’s also the most time-consuming, and it can take many months before you start to see any results. Nevertheless, if you can take time to optimize your website, and gain a lot of backlinks to your site using relevant keywords (including long-tail buying keywords) as the anchor text, you can receive a lot of traffic to your website when you start to obtain high search engine rankings.
5. Pay Per Click Advertising
This is a highly effective way of promoting your affiliate programs, either directly, or by using your own website to pre-sell the visitor. Pay per click advertising gives you the ability to advertise on the first few pages of results of the search engines for the exact keywords that you choose, so it’s no wonder that so many affiliates swear by this form of advertising. The main thing to remember is that you have to keep testing as much as possible and make sure you don’t spend too much per click on any of your keywords, so you maintain a positive return on your investment.
6. Advertising On Other Websites
You can buy advertising space or text links from numerous websites in all types of niches, so there’s plenty of opportunity to advertise your offers on other websites. The only downside is that it can be tricky finding websites that will give you a positive return on your investment, but if you can do this then there’s definitely good profits to be made.
7. Free Reports And Ebooks
Writing free reports and ebooks provide an excellent opportunity to access your target market, particularly if you add a viral aspect to them. All you do is write your own content, based around the product you are promoting, and include your affiliate links within this content. If your information is of a high quality, you can get massive exposure for your affiliate links as people pass it on to other people, and share it with their list of subscribers if they have one.
8. Blogs
Promotional blogs are a modern and extremely effective way of promoting your affiliate programs. Because they often contain fresh content on an ongoing basis, they are loved by the major search engines, and can therefore attract high levels of traffic.
9. Email Marketing
Advertising in relevant ezines has traditionally been a good way of promoting affiliate programs. Although not as effective as it once was due to strict spam filters, a well-written solo ad or an attention-grabbing classified ad in a targeted high readership ezine can still get great results. For best results, however, you should aim to build your own list of subscribers so you can send out your emails whenever you want, and can actually build a relationship with your list, which will increase your affiliate sales.
10. Offline Advertising
This is the final of form of advertising I want to discuss. Most online marketers ignore offline advertising completely, but there’s no doubt that offline advertising still works, and can even outperform online advertising in some cases. Business cards, flyers, magazine and newspaper advertising are just some of the ways you can effectively promote products offline.
